Kasos Map

Kasos is a Greek island in the southern Aegean and the southernmost of the Dodecanese. It is located between Crete and Karpathos. It is approximately rhomboid elongated with a maximum length from Cape Avlaki to Cape Aktina 19.8 km and maximum width (almost in the middle of the island) 7.7 km. Its area reaches 66.4 sq. Km. and has a coastline of 59 km. The island is surrounded by the Carpathian Sea.
Kasos has six villages: Arvanitochori, Agia Marina, Emporio, Panagia, Poli and Fry (capital). The highest peaks of its mountains are Prionas (601 m.), Periolas And Korakas.
